The study of daily life of aged women living alone who receive the National Basic Livelihood Security Program

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to understand the daily life of aged women linving alone who receive the government`s livelihood subsidy on a daily basis. To accomplish this purpose, I recruited 9 aged women living alone by a purposive sampling. Collected data were analyzed from the explanation- building of case study. In research findings, I presented three dimensions of the daily life; the experience in residential, food, government"s livelihood subsidy of life. The theme of the first part is ¡®wandering and isolation¡¯, ¡®working as a domestic servant¡¯. The theme of the second part is a ¡®lunchbox¡¯, ¡®coffee¡¯, ¡®tobacco¡¯. The theme of the last is the right of the ¡®take off the burden of exhausting life¡¯, ¡®retrospection of regretful life¡¯, ¡®developing a new relationship¡¯. According to these results, I offer suggestions Housing and welfare for the elderly for policy and, Dimensions of community practice and further researches.
